Nashua, N.H., June 26, 2002 - Dharma Systems, Inc., a developer and marketer of application integration technology designed for e-business developers, announced today the release of eUnify 5.0, software designed to provide the bridge between e-business applications and existing business systems. Dharma’s eUnify software technology enables e-business developers to take advantage of legacy applications without custom coding and provides a standard interface for any legacy system integration.

eUnify Version 5.0 brings significant new capabilities to the design and development tools. New features make development and maintenance easier. Additional mapping capabilities allow complex applications to be mapped quickly and simply.
eUnify 5.0, as with previous versions, is composed of two main products:
Dharma Integrator – acts as the hub of eUnify and provides a common integration layer that enables e-business solutions to access a unified view of business rules and information from multiple legacy applications.
Dharma AppLink – a variety of AppLink products that provide relational views of legacy applications that can be combined into a unified view with Dharma Integrator.
The new version of eUnify supports a number of back-end applications through AppLink for Siebel, AppLink for SAP, AppLink for 3270 (mainframe) and AppLink for 5250 (AS/400). The 3270 and 5250 Applinks support any application using these terminals, including systems such as J.D.Edwards or custom developed systems. Dharma Integrator can now be used to create a unified view that provides seamless access to any and all of the relational views provided by the Dharma AppLink product family.
